Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare and analyze various reports to provide key insights and recommendations to management.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual budgets.
Stay updated with industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices.
Post daily transactions in the sage accounting system.
Reconcile company bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
Generate financial reports using income and expenditure data.
Monitor and support taxation requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g. ICAN, ACCA)
3 – 5 years of proven experience as an Accountant in a similar financial role.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
