As the Business Development Manager at The ToolShop Nigeria, you will be a key driving force behind our expansion and growth in the power tools and cutting tools industry. Your strategic vision and excellent communication skills will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with clients and industry partners, and achieving our company’s sales and revenue targets.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential target segments, competitors, and key industry trends.
Business Strategy: Develop and implement a robust business strategy to achieve company objectives and maximize market penetration.
New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals to expand our customer base.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
Collaborative Marketing: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.
Industry Insights: Monitor industry developments and emerging market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data, market feedback, and customer insights to continuously improve product offerings and customer experience.
Sales Targets: Set ambitious revenue and growth targets and lead the team to achieve and exceed them.
Requirements:
Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: Proven track record of at least 7 – 10 years of successful business development experience in the power tools and cutting tools industry or a related sector.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing large deals and partnerships.
Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian market, industry trends, and key players.
Strategic Thinker: Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Proactivity: Proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for driving business growth.
Fast-paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects and business initiatives.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – 500,000
