Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
Create and curate compelling content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
Manage and monitor social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with the audience.
Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging platforms in social media marketing to ensure the company’s social media presence remains innovative and relevant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, communications, and design, to align social media efforts with overall brand strategy.
Monitor industry conversations, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Utilize social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, to create and manage paid social media campaigns.
Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and brand advocates to leverage their reach and enhance brand visibility.
Stay informed about legal and ethical guidelines for social media marketing to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

BSc/HND in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience working as a social media manager
Relevant certifications in social media marketing, digital marketing, or social media management (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite Social Media Marketing Certification).
Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms for businesses, preferably in a similar industry or role.
Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns, content creation, and community management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling content, engage with the audience, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices for content creation, posting, and engagement.
An analytical mindset to interpret social media metrics, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.
Creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative and engaging social media campaigns.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple social media platforms, schedules, and campaigns simultaneously.
Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising platforms.
Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content and strategies.
Customer service orientation to respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Crisis management skills to handle negative feedback, manage online reputation, and address customer concerns effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all social media channels.
